Hours of Operation

Classes are one hour and accommodate all ages and ability levels. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class so that we can start promptly on the hour.

About CCF

Group classes are the backbone of the business. In a small group setting, we provide your exercise programming (warm-up, workout, and skill work) as well as instruction and of course supply all the necessary equipment. You will learn the basics of powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, basic gymnastics and bodyweight movements, proper mechanics and much more. You will always receive instruction from a certified trainer and will constantly be observed to ensure that you are performing all movements in a safe and efficient manner.

Alisha Anderson

Owner/Head Coach

Alisha is a Level I CrossFit coach, as well as a certified Personal Trainer. As a multi-sport athlete, she has competed in both Bodybuilding and Powerlifting competitions. She is also a mother of 5, cancer survivor, and retired veteran. Alisha has a clear understanding of the dedication and discipline it takes to excel in these types of sports while balancing home life. Alisha started her own fitness journey here at CCF. Not long after having her twins she became a Coach. In early spring of 2022, her journey here at Colonial CrossFit came full circle when she became the owner.  She is extremely passionate about her own fitness. However, she is most passionate and thrives on helping others reach their highest potential.

Ryan Poe


Ryan is a native of the area and a combat veteran of 10 years. He can most often be found at Colonial CrossFit teaching the evening classes.  Ryan has been a member of Colonial CrossFit since 2019 and gained his level 1 certification in 2021.  Ryan's personable and friendly attitude and desire to understand the fitness needs of the athlete's makes him an asset, both to the athletes and Colonial CrossFit as a whole. When he's not teaching classes, Ryan enjoys CrossFit competitions and Obstacle Course races.

Paul Holoye


Paul has a huge heart and brings an intensity that keeps people motivated. He has been coaching since 2019.

He has competed in competitions for the last decade while stationed in Germany and here in Virginia. He specializes in working with and competing with athletes in team competitions.

He is a married father of 4 who also holds a commission as a MAJ in the U.S. Army Reserves.

"In 2019 I found Colonial CrossFit. I am a firm believer that the support and accountability from this community has further strengthened my resolve to push myself to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  To date I am 130 pounds lighter and a much healthier 23 percent body fat with plans to continue to see how I can transform and promote a healthy lifestyle.  It is this unique experience that gives me the perspective to help those athletes with body image/body capability concerns. My fitness journey is very relatable to many potential athletes that have concerns with how or where to get started.
